A portion of U.S. 421 in Clay County will be reduced to one lane

A portion of U.S. 421 in Clay County (mile points 13-14) will be reduced to one lane beginning Wednesday, March 10 at 8 a.m. and concluding Friday, March 13 at 5 p.m.

The lane closure is necessary to allow KYTC crews to perform slide repairs and will be maintained with temporary traffic signals.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expected long delays and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.

The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
