Authorities say an armed robbery took place around 10 p.m. Wednesday at the Grab and Go Market, also known as the Crossroads Market, at the Junction of US 25E and KY 233 in Gray.

Knox County Deputy Drew Wilson was only two minutes away when he received the call.

Store employees described the robber as a white male wearing an orange ski mask over his face and dressed in a gray sweatshirt and pants.

Employees say the man entered the market and demanded money. The employees complied with the robber’s demands, after which he fled the market on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

The employees say they did not see a weapon, but they believe the robber had one concealed inside his shirt. No one was injured during the robbery.

Deputy Wilson was assisted at the scene by Knox County Deputies Keith Liford and Curtis Corey, KSP Troopers Sammy Faris and K-9 Officer Dallas Eubank, KVE Officer Wendell Hunter and Corbin PD Officer LT Rick Baker.

The investigation is continuing by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.
