Barbourville places pinwheels for Child Abuse Prevention

While the pinwheels in town are a sign that spring is officially here, there is actually a deeper meaning behind them. On April 10, the GFWC Kentucky Barbourville Woman’s Study Club met with officials to sign a proclamation and place the pinwheels around town to represent Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Officials, the Study Club and community members signed the proclamation on the Knox County Courthouse steps, urging the entire community to get involved.
