Barger, Robinson lead KCHS to easy win in Pigskin Classic

The 2014 Knox Central Football team opened their season at Corbin in the Pigskin Classic against Perry Central on Friday night with a convincing 39-6 win. The Panthers took the opening drive 65 yards to jump out to an early 6-0 lead in the first quarter. Special teams proved to be the biggest asset of the game with Matthew Barger scoring two touchdowns on punt returns of 76 and 66 yards while Frankie Robinson added another touchdown on a 55 yard punt return. The Panthers will be back on the field next Friday at Clay County when they take on North Laurel in the Appalachian Bowl.
