Knox Central showed up in Clay County ready to win with a 41-0 blowout on Friday, September 30.
Junior Donavan Arthur and Sophomore Blevin Campbell led in scoring with 12 points each. Arthur rushed for 142 yards in 16 rush attempts, while Campbell rushed for 80 in one attempt. Campbell also had a touchdown pass reception.
Junior Nick Martin kicked for five extra points, along with a touchdown scored receiving.
Tanner Wells scored for six points rushing, as well. Wells rushed for 60 yards and received for 25, along with ten solo tackles making him the tackle leader. Junior Tucker Holland had nine solo tackles.
Senior Jaxon Stewart had seventeen pass attempts with 109 passing yards and two touchdown passes.
Knox Central (4-2-1) will be at home on Friday, October 7 against district opponent and ranked #9 Wayne County (5-2) beginning at 7:30 p.m.
