The Union College men’s and women’s cycling teams have gotten off to an impressive start on their 2015 season, as they sit in second place as a team in the Southeastern Collegiate Cycling Conference Division II standings after two races.

Overall, the Bulldogs have accumulated 613 points in their first two races, as they trail just King (Tenn.) in the Division II standings of the SECCC.

Pacing the Bulldogs in last weekend’s event at Lees-McRae (N.C.) was Kayse Cornett (SR/Corbin, Ky.), who finished first in the Women’s B Downhill event. Sydney Wenger (FR/Orville, Ohio) followed suit with a seventh place finish in the Women’s A Short Track.
