Crash on intersection by Rite-Aid

A two-car collision held up traffic Thursday, July 9 at the intersection Ky. 3439 and U.S. 25E. The two drivers involved were Keshia Smith and Robert Sizemore. Sizemore was transported to Knox County Hospital for an arm injury.

A two-vehicle crash occurred around 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, between Keshia Smith, 25 driving a Ford Toyota Corolla and Robert Sizemore, 38, driving a Ford Focus.

According to Barbourville Police Officer Robert Brown, Sizemore was traveling south on US 25E when Smith, who was in the turning lane with a yield signal, attempted to turn onto Highway 3439. Sizemore struck the side of Smith’s Corolla. Robert Sizemore was transported to Knox County Hospital by ambulance for an arm injury.
