Knox County Cooperative Extension Office is proud to host University of Kentucky’s Super Chef program.
UK sent four groups of Dietetic majors across Kentucky to educate the local youth, ages 9-18, about healthy eating habits. This is UK’s second year running the program but their first time in Knox County. During the three day camp, June 30 – July 2. the kids learned the benefits of fruits and vegetables, proper knife skills, and baking techniques.
“We love it.” Says Carly Johns of Pittsburgh PA, “We love cooks and we love the kids.”
Kaelyn Potter of Ashland Ky adds, “Its been an amazing experience.”
