Everyone’s favorite snowman, Frosty, and Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” come to stage this holiday season at The Center for Rural Development in Somerset.

Discover the magic of Barter Players Production of “Frosty” on Monday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m. and celebrate the holidays with the Center Stage LIVE! performance of “A Christmas Carol” on Thursday, Dec. 4, at 7:30 p.m. in two spectacular holiday shows at The Center.

“We are delighted to present two of America’s favorite holiday classics that have become a holiday tradition with audiences of all ages,” said Dianna Winstead, associate director of arts, culture, and events at The Center. “You will not want to miss either performance, as we usher in the holidays with Frosty the Snowman and enjoy the heartwarming tale of ‘A Christmas Carol.’”

Tickets for “Frosty” are $4 for children and $7 for adults and children 12 and older. Center Stage LIVE! tickets for “A Christmas Carol” are $25 or $15 for children and students (preschool through college).

Both performances are presented by Lake Cumberland Performing Arts in partnership with The Center.

The Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency, provides operating support to Lake Cumberland Performing Arts with state tax dollars and federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
