Indictments

The Knox County Grand Jury handed down the following indictments on March 27.
• James Dozier, age 20 of Gray, was indicted on one count of Rape in the First Degree.
• Shella B. Brown, age 25 of Flat Lick, was indicted on one count of Manufacturing Methamphetamine, First Offense, one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and one count of Giving a Police Officer a False Name or Address. Christopher Dailey, age 32 of Artemus, was indicted on one count of Manufacturing Methamphetamine, First Offense, Controlled Substance in the First Degree, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
• Harold Bright, age 45 of Barbourville, was indicted on one count of Flagrant Non Support.

• Jerry Vaughn, age 34 of Barbourville, and Daryl Vaughn, age 44 of Flat Lick, were both indicted on one count of Burglary in the Second Degree and Theft by Unlawful Taking of the Value of Less than $500.
• Nicholas Jones, age 25 of Barbourville, was indicted on one count of Receiving Stolen Property of the Value of $500 or More, But Less Than $10,000 and Criminal Mischief in the First Degree.
• Amy Cain, age 24 of Trosper, was indicted on one count of Burglary in the Third Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance in an Improper Container, First Offense, Controlled Substance in the Second Degree, Public Intoxication, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Persistent Felony Offender in the Second Degree, and Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree. Harvey Dewayne Cain, age 31 of Artemus, was indicted on one count of Burglary in the Third Degree, Controlled Substance in an Improper Container, First Offense, Controlled Substance in the Second Degree, Public Intoxication, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree. Josh Reiter, age 31 of Artemus, was indicted on one count of Burglary in the Third Degree, Fleeing or Evading the Police in the First Degree, Wanton Endangerment in the First Degree, Public Intoxication, Resisting Arrest, and Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree.
• Michael Theodore Cox, age 40 of Cannon, was indicted on one count of Manufacturing Methamphetamine, First Offense, two counts of Assault in the Third Degree, one count of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, one count of and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, one count of Resisting Arrest, one count of Menacing, and one count of Terroristic Threatening in the Third Degree. Raymond K. Jackson, age 50 of Pineville, was indicted on one count of Manufacturing Methamphetamine, First Offense, Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, Hindering Prosecution or Apprehension Second Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Defacing a Firearm. Effie Cox, age 39 of Cannon, was indicted on one count of Hindering Prosecution or Apprehension Second Degree, Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Manufacturing Methamphetamine, First Offense. Retha Ross, age 27 of Hinkle, was indicted on on count of Manufacturing Methamphetamine, First Offense, Hindering Prosecution or Apprehension Second Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Persistent Felony Offender in the Second Degree.
