Brooke Broughton, H.O.S.A. member and student of Health Sciences at Knox Co. Area Technical School (senior, K.C.H.S) has been chosen as  the winner of the 2014-2015 Kentucky State H.O.S.A pin design contest. Brooke designed a pin that both represented the state of Kentucky and H.O.S.A. (Health Occupations Students of America).

This is a huge honor; her drawing will be used to make a pin that will be used as the official Kentucky State pin. This pin will be given to all Kentucky H.O.S.A members at the state conference that will be held in Louisville, Ky. March 2015. This pin will then be used as the official trading pin for Kentucky at the National conference held in Anaheim, California July 2015.

Brooke is the daughter of the late David Broughton, and Kimberly Bingham of Barbourville, Ky.
