Knox County Public Schools met this afternoon, June 15, for the monthly board meeting.
Popular topics at the KCPS board meeting were:
- Recognition of the Knox Central baseball team who recently competed in State competition.
- Improvement priorities/diagnostic review: Mr. Sprinkles reports the school system improved on the 2016 ratings and will continue to address additional goals in 2017.
- Extension of Superintendent Kelly Sprinkles’ contract by one year, which was unanimously approved by the board. Mr. Sprinkles’ contract will now expire June 30, 2021 with no other amendments made to his existing contract.
