Ken-Ducky Derby races Saturday

2015 Ken-Ducky Derby.

The KCEOC Community Action Partnership is gearing up for its 19th annual Ken-Ducky Derby. The Derby will once again be held at the Barbourville City Waterpark. Gates will open Saturday, June 11, at 11 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. The Derby Ducks will begin their race down the Lazy River at 5 p.m. Admission is free and so is lunch.

Duck sponsorships are $5 each and can be purchased the day of the race.

There are a variety of prize packages. First prize is $3,000 cash $2,000 in merchandise. Second prize is $2,000 cash and $1,000 merchandise. Third prize is a $1,000 prize package. Fourth through tenth places get $100 each, and there is even a $100 prize for the last duck to cross the finish line.
