Knox Central girls soccer team is still working out some kinks as the program enters its second year. Although they suffered a 10 – 0 loss to North Laurel Monday, the girls are keeping their heads up and look forward to future success.
“The girls played hard,” said Michael Poff, assist coach for Knox Central girls soccer team. “This is only their second game of the season. Their shape, both offensively and defensively, looked much better today than it has all year.”
“I feel like the girls played well,” said North Laurel girls soccer coach Rebecca Woodworth, “It was a good game for everyone.”
