Dear Knox County Students, Parents, Staff, and Community Members,

I am writing to thank each of you for your support during the past three months and the past three years.

Together, we have achieved a lot since I was selected Superintendent.  From test scores, graduation and college/career rates, to school culture and momentum, there are great things happening in our schools. I am humbled and grateful for the opportunity to lead the Knox County Public Schools for the next four years as we continue the work that is being done for the students of Knox County.

I would like to ask the entire community to continue being advocates, supporters, and a voice – for our students.  Our students deserve the best.  It is going to take all of us, united together, to move Knox County to the top!

I hope that you and your family enjoy time together this summer.  Use the days ahead to build relationships and memories as a family, to reflect on the past, and to rest and recharge for a great school year ahead. I am excited about the future of the Knox County Public Schools and what we will achieve together!

 Have a great summer!

Sincerely,

 Kelly Sprinkles, Superintendent
