Loretta Bright age 82, of Dewitt, was born there on January 26, 1936. She was a daughter of the late James Madison Lester and Amanda Messer Lester. Loretta passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 in the Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Facility. She was a member of the Dewitt Baptist Church. On June 19, 1953, she united in marriage to Delmer Bright and to this union three dear children were born. Along with her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by a Sister, Sarah Saunders, Brothers, Noah Lester and John Ike Lester, Nieces, Lillie Williamson and Ludena Smith and Nephew, Ray Wilson.
Loretta is survived by her Son, Ronald Wayne Bright and wife, Ginger of Jacksonville, Florida; her Daughters; Brenda Frazier and husband, Bill of Barbourville and Jacqueline Carter and husband, Dr. Richard Carter of Barbourville;
Grandchildren; Brian Wayne Bright and wife, Rachel, Steven Kyle Bright and wife, Emily, Lee Madison Frazier, Emily Ruth Carter and Sarah Jane Carter; her Great Grandchildren; Jonah Wayne Bright, Alexandra Kay Bright and Jackson Delmer Bright; a special Niece; Patty Bingham of Barbourville and many other beloved Nieces and Nephews; and special caregiver, Elizabeth Sowders.
Funeral Services for Loretta Bright will be conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Vernon Morris and Rev. Josh Smith officiaitng. Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery with Grandsons, Brian Wayne Bright, Steven Kyle Bright, Lee Madison Frazier, Nephew, Delmer Saunders, Great Nephew, Mike Lester and Son-in-law, Dr. Richard Carter serving as pallbearers. Friends will be received at the Hopper Funeral Home, Tuesday, after 6:00 pm and on Wednesday after 10:00 am until the funeral hour at 2:00 pm. Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
