With three weeks left in the regular-season, the Lynn Camp Lady Cats are the third winningest team in the 13th Region with 12 victories. Only South Laurel and Clay County have more with 15 and 14, respectively.
Lynn Camp became the first team to reach 200 runs this season and is number one in that category by a whopping 36 runs. The Lady Cats led the 13th Region in runs scored each of the past two seasons, including a school-record 364 in 2016.
The rest of the 51st District teams have a total of five wins. Barbourville has three, Knox Central two, and Pineville is winless.
Knox Central has, however, secured the top seed in the post-season tournament with a 2-0 mark against district opponents. The Lady Panthers play Pineville today.
Barbourville has claimed the second seed in the tournament with a 2-3 mark in district.
Lynn Camp is third with a 4-2 mark against district opponents. Pineville is fourth.
