Murder suspect to have competency hearing

John Christopher Mills, arrested Nov. 11, 2012, and charged with the murder of Jonathon Ryan Foley will be back in circuit court Nov. 20 at 10 a.m. for a competency hearing. According to arrest reports, Mills was placed at the location of Foley’s murder by his co-defendants, George Marcum and James Wyatt.  The arrest report also states that Mills admitted moving the victim’s vehicle and body.

   

George Marcum is currently incarcerated at the Northpoint Training Center in Boyle County while Wyatt remains at the Harlan County Detention Center.
