One man was flown out for treatment of injuries following a collision with a tractor-trailer on November 19.
According to Knox County Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Lawson, the crash occurred at approximately 6:55 p.m. when a 2007 Mack Tractor and Trailer pulled into the south bound lane of US 25 E and collided with a 2011 Honda SUV also traveling south.
The driver of the Honda, from Dry Ridge, KY, was extricated by West Knox Fire Department, transported to a landing zone by Knox EMS and flown to the University of Tennessee Medical Center for treatment of injuries. The driver of the semi was uninjured. Identities of the parties involved have not been released as of press time.
