Over $3,000 in meth found during warrant search

While executing a search warrant, Knox County Sheriff Mike Smith and other deputies seized a sizeable quantity of meth.

The Sheriff’s Office conducted the search on November 29 at a home on Stoney Fork in the Bryant’s Store community. During the search, they discovered over three ounces of crystal meth and a set of scales.

Bonnie France Meeks, 36, Bryant’s Store was arrested and charged with first degree trafficking in controlled substance.

Meeks was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

Operation UNITE also assisted the Knox County Sheriffs Office in the investigation.

The crystal meth discovered would have a street value of over $3,300 Sheriff Smith said, and this amount would be classified as a “mid-level dealer.”
