The Knox County District Drug Court held a graduation for two deserving graduates on Thursday, May 7, in the courtroom.

Speaker for the graduation was Clay Bishop III, Pastor of Scalf Chapel Church, Bimble.

District Judge William “Skip” Hammons presented each graduate with a certificate of completion. Each of the graduates shared words of gratitude to the Drug Court Team members, which consists of Hon. Gilbert E. Holland, Patricia Sears, Gayle Harvey, Vivian Sears, Julie Walsh-Hembree, Claudia Gibson Greenwood, Judge Chappell, and Judge Hammons.

The goal of Drug Court is to allow those with substance abuse problems to have a prosperous life.
