A portion of KY 11 at mile point 7.8 (south of Barbourville) in Knox County will be closed at intermittent times beginning Monday, August 1 at 7:30 a.m. and is expected to conclude Tuesday, August 2 at 5:30 p.m.
The road closure is necessary to allow KYTC crews perform cross drain repairs and will be maintained with flaggers during working hours.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expected long delays, use the signed detour for alternate routes, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
