Sheriff unveils new cruisers paid for with federal grant

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office has purchased two 2018 Dodge Charger Police Cruisers, paid for by a federal grant through the Department of Agriculture. The total grant awarded to the sheriff’s office was $47,380. Along with purchasing the cruisers, the grant also paid to fully equip the vehicles for Deputy Claude Hudson and Deputy Andrew Lawson.
