Knox County Sheriff Mike Smith is reporting the following Enforcement Actions:

On June 5, Deputy Chad Wagner received a call reporting a vehicle that ran off the roadway, struck a fence on KY 11 and continued south toward Barbourville. Deputy Wagner located the vehicle, which had wrecked approximately two miles south, of the location where the vehicle had struck the fence.

Deputy Wagner arrested Rodney Merida, 48, of Turkey Creek, charging him with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence, Operating on Suspended/Revoked License and Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On June 11, Deputy Claude Hudson received a call, of several people being intoxicated on the Terrell Cemetery Road in Woodbine. When Deputy Hudson arrived he observed a man passed out inside a vehicle. Deputy Hudson arrested Kylen Lovett, 19, of Gray, charging him with Public Intoxication. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On June 12, Deputy Keith Liford arrested Earl McVey, 27, of Hinkle, on a Knox County Bench warrant for failure to appear on Child Support charges. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On June 13, Deputy Jason Carmak was dispatched to a domestic violence complaint on Moore Hill Ave in Corbin. After conducting an investigation, Deputy Carmack arrested Brenda Webb, 38, of Corbin, charging her with Assault 4th Degree and Public Intoxication/Controlled Substance. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On June 14, Deputy Jason Carmak arrested Tammy Merida, 42, of Flat Lick, on a Knox County Arrest warrant for Receiving Stolen Property Under $500 and Theft by Deception-Cold Checks Under $500. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On June 14, Deputy Jason Carmak arrested Amanda Foley, 26, of Barbourville, on two Knox County Bench warrants for failure to appear on Disorderly Conduct, Menacing (2 counts), Terroristic Threatening, Resisting Arrest, Assault 2nd Degree/Police Officer. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On June 14, Deputy Carl Frith received a complaint, of a vehicle traveling north on US 25E weaving from side to side. Deputy Frith located the vehicle on US 25E in Gray KY and arrested Jacob Norton, 32, of Middlesboro, charging him with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On June 14, Deputy Mikey Ashurst was dispatched to a complaint, of a man walking intoxicated on Evergreen Road in Flat Lick. Deputy Ashurst located and arrested Noah Gray, 20, of Flat Lick, charging him with Alcohol Intoxication. Noah Gray was also wanted on a Knox County Bench warrant for failure to pay fines on charges, of No Operator License/Moped, Rear License not Illuminated, No Tail Lights and Obstructed Vision and/or Windshield. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On June 14, Deputy Mikey Ashurst arrested Johnathan Campbell, 26, of Corbin, on a Knox County Bench warrant for failure to appear on charges, of Failure to Maintain Required Insurance. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
