Knox County Sheriff Mike Smith is reporting the following Enforcement Actions:

On Sept. 1, Deputies Claude Hudson and Keith Liford responded several times to complaints at a residence on Lynn Camp Hollow Road in Gray involving persons fighting and guns being fired Each time the Deputies would respond the perpetrator would flee from the residence. The deputies returned to residence early the next day and arrested Billy Ray Lowe, age 36, of Gray, charging him with Fleeing and Evading Police on Foot, Resisting Arrest, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Possession of a Hand Gun by a Convicted Felon, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree/Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Billy Lowe was also wanted on Knox County Indictment warrant for Manufacturing Methamphetamine and six other drug charges, a Knox County Bench warrant for failure to appear on five traffic violations, and a Laurel County Bench warrant for Theft by Unlawful Taking and Contempt of Court He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On Sept. 1, while being in Rite Aid Drug Store in Barbourville, Deputy Keith Liford was contacted by the manager regarding a shoplifter inside the store. Deputy Liford arrested Tiffany Lynn Buckner, age 26, of Middlesboro, charging her with Shoplifting and Public Intoxication. Tiffany Buckner was also wanted on a Bell County Bench warrant failure to appear on a No Insurance charge. Deputy Liford also arrested Jeremiah Evans, age 39, of Pineville, on a Bell County Bench warrant failure to pay court cost on Facilitation to Commit Murder and Persistent Felony Offender II. They were lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On Sept. 1, Deputies Carl Frith and Jason Carmack responded to a report of a domestic in progress on Bailey Hollow Road in Gray. The domestic involved a Juvenile and an adult. The Juvenile and adult were cited to court on 4th Degree Assault charges. While the deputies were there conducting an investigation, the adult involved in the domestic became disorderly in their presence. Deputy Frith arrested Jim C Smith, age 23, of Hinkle, charging him with disorderly Conduct. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On Sept. 2, Deputy Claude Hudson arrested Joshua Burton, age 34 of Gray, on a Whitley County Bench warrant on Child Support charges. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On Sept. 2, Deputy Claude Hudson received a domestic complaint on Falcon Drive in Gray. After arriving at the scene, Deputy Hudson arrested Samuel Boyd Phipps, age 33 of Gray, charging him with Assault 4th Degree and Resisting Arrest. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On Sept. 3, Deputy Keith Liford arrested Kenneth Bays, age 35 of Bimble, on a Knox County Indictment warrant for Assault 2nd Degree. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On Sept. 3, Deputy Chad Wagner responded to a complaint of a person who refused leave birthday party at a residence on Bill Sowders Lane in Flat Lick. After arriving at the residence and conducting an investigation, Deputy Wagner arrested Patricia Honeycutt, age 53, of Barbourville, charging her with Criminal Trespass 3rd Degree. and Public Intoxication. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On Sept. 3, Deputy Claude Hudson arrested Rosalene Jones, age 27, of Pittsburg, on a Laurel County Bench warrant for failure to appear on Shoplifting, and two counts of Contempt of Court charges. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On Sept. 4, Deputy Keith Liford arrested Angela Roberts, age 42, of Girdler, on a Knox County Arrest warrant and a Knox County Bench warrant on Child Support charges. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On Sept. 4, 12:25 am Deputy Ashurst observed a vehicle make an erratic turn onto 1232 in Gray without utilizing a turn signal. Deputy Ashurst stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver Jessica Rainwater, age 26 of Williamsburg, charging her with DUI and Failure to Signal. She lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On Sept. 5 Deputies Carl Frith responded to a domestic violence complaint at a residence on KY6 in Gray. After conducting an investigation, Deputy Frith arrested Ronnie Helton, age 68 of Gray, charging him with Assault 4th Degree. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On Sept. 5, Deputy Ashurst responded to a domestic violence complaint in progress at a residence on Bradley Martin Lane in Barbourville. After returning to the residence a second time, Deputy Ashurst arrested Jack Davis, age 25 of Bimble, and Tabitha Henderson, age 34, of Bimble, for Assault 4th Degree. While at the residence Deputy Ashurst observed Kimberly Brown with a syringe containing suboxone. She was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree. All three were lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On Sept. 5, at 1:37 a.m., Deputy Ashurst observed a vehicle weaving from side to side on US 25E one mile north of Barbourville. Deputy Ashurst arrested the driver Trevor Skinner, age 21 of Richmond, charging him with DUI, Improper Use of Left Lane, Expired Registration Plates, and Failure to Produce Insurance Card. Deputy Ashurst also arrested a passenger in the vehicle, Allen Wayne Gilkinson, age 31 of Lexington, for Possession of Marijuana. They were lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On Sept. 6, Deputy Jason Carmack arrested Robert Taylor, age 23, of Corbin, on a Knox County Arrest warrant for Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition and a Knox County Bench warrant for failure to pay fines on Shoplifting and Public Intoxication charges. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On Sept. 6, at 2:05 am Deputy Sidney Wagner conducted a traffic stop at intersection of Moore Hill Ave and Combs Ave in Corbin. While Deputy Wagner was talking with the driver, the passenger became belligerent and attempted to grab Deputy Wagner. Deputy Wagner arrested Alvin Flannelly, age 26, of Corbin, charging him with Public Intoxication, Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On Sept. 8, Deputy Claude Hudson arrested Glenda Hubbard, age 47, of Barbourville, on a Knox County Arrest warrant for Assault 4th Degree charges. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center
