Knox County Sheriff BadgeOn April 27, Deputy Claude Hudson responded to a single vehicle collision at the junction, of KY 459 and KY6. After conducting an investigation, Deputy Hudson arrested Leslie Campbell, 64, of Barbourville, for Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence, Possession, of Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Prescription Controlled Substance not in Original Container and Possession, of Drug Paraphernalia He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On April 27, Deputy Mikey Ashurst received a complaint, of a disturbance at a residence on KY 2417 in East Corbin. When Deputy Ashurst arrived at the location, he observed a man outside the residence next to the roadway. After making contact, Deputy Ashurst arrested Jeffrey Taylor, 48, of Corbin, charging him with Public Intoxication. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On April 28, Deputy Keith Liford arrested Jeffery Wright, 26, of Corbin, on two Jefferson County Bench warrants for Failure to Appear and for Parole Violation. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On April 28, Deputies Claude Hudson and Keith Liford responded to a complaint, of someone stealing items from an abandon house on Knox Street in Corbin, KY. When the deputies arrived they observed a pick-up truck parked in a cemetery near the abandon house. Several items taken from the house were located in the back, of the pick-up. Deputies arrested James Christopher Willen, 34, of Corbin, charging him with Burglary 2nd Degree, and Menacing. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On April 28, Deputy Keith Liford responded to a vehicle collision on KY 233 at Gray, KY. After conducting an investigation, Deputy Liford arrested Travis Hensley, 22, of Gray, for Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence, Failure to Register/ Transfer, of Motor Vehicle, Driving Without a License in Accident and Failure to Provide Insurance Card. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On April 29, Deputy Claude Hudson responded to a one-vehicle traffic collision involving a DUI on KY 225 in Artemus, KY. While reroute to the scene, Deputy Hudson observed a vehicle matching the description being driven with one rubber tire missing off the rim. Deputy Hudson stopped the vehicle and arrested Frelen Roark, 55, of Keavy, charging him with Operating Motor Vehicle Under the Influence/ Drugs. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On April 30, Deputy Keith Liford responded to a complaint, of an intoxicated female inside the Knox District Courtroom. Deputy Liford arrested Melisa Grub, 40, of Barbourville, charging her with Public Intoxication Controlled Substance. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center

On April 30, Deputy Claude Hudson responded to a complaint, of 16 year old boy being shot at on Leo Hampton Road in Jarvis area, of Knox County. After arriving at the scene and conducting interviews, Deputy Hudson arrested James Lowe, 38, of Barbourville, charging him Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On April 30, Deputy Keith Liford arrested Ted Davis, 28, of Bimble, on two Knox County Bench warrants for failure to appear on Alcohol Intoxication, failure to pay fines on Criminal Trespassing 3rd Degree and Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree. Ted Davis was also wanted on a Bell County Bench warrant for No Operators License and Failure to Wear Seat Belts. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On May 1, Deputy Mikey Ashurst responded to a domestic complaint at Scalf, KY. The perpetrator had left the residence in a vehicle and was still in the area attempting to locate the victim who had also left the residence. Deputy Ashurst located the suspect vehicle and arrested Goble Travis Brown, 22, of Scalf, KY. Goble Brown was charged with Assault 4th Degree, Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence., Prescription Controlled Substance not in Original Container, Possession, of Drug Paraphernalia and several other traffic violations. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On May 1, Deputy Mikey Ashurst arrested Eddie Deaton 39, of Girdler, on a Knox County Bench warrant for Assault 2nd Degree. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On May 1, Deputy Keith Liford arrested William Roark, 23, of Barbourville, on a Knox County Arrest warrant for Terroristic Threatening 3rd Degree.. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On May 1, Deputy Keith Liford arrested Daniel Edwards, 32, of Bimble, on a Knox County Arrest warrant for Robbery 2nd Degree, Assault 4th Degree and Terroristic Threatening 3rd Degree. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On May 2, Deputy Keith Liford arrested Kenny Wagers, 19, of Flat Lick, on a Knox County Arrest warrant for Assault 2nd Degree. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On May 3, at 1:20 a.m. Deputy Mikey Ashurst responded to a complaint, of a male subject passed out under the steps, of a residence on Manchester Street in Barbourville, KY. Deputy Ashurst located and arrested Terry McNamara, 44, of Barbourville, for Alcohol Intoxication. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On May 3, at 1:20 a.m. Deputy Mikey Ashurst responded to a complaint, of someone in a silver van stealing crossties in the Girdler area, of Knox County. Deputy Ashurst located a silver van loaded with crossties at a residence on Valentine Branch Road in Girdler, KY. Deputy Ashurst contacted Albert France who became belligerent and uncooperative. Deputy Ashurst arrested Albert France, 33, of Girdler, for Receiving Stolen Property Under $500, Public Intoxication, Menacing, Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree and Resisting Arrest. Deputy Ashurst also arrested April Thomas, 28, of Girdler, for Public Intoxication/Marijuana. They were lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On May 3, at 4:10 a.m. Deputy Mikey Ashurst responded to a domestic complaint at a residence on Hazel Fork Road in Gray, KY. When Deputy Ashurst arrived at the scene, a man came running out, of the residence yelling at him. Deputy Ashurst arrested Jason Ronald Hensley, 33, of Gray, for Assault 4th Degree, Public Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On May 3, at 5:15 a.m. Deputy Ashurst responded to a complaint at the same location on Hazel Fork Road in Gray, regarding a female who would not stop calling 911 dispatch. Deputy Ashurst arrested Anabelle Hensley, 31, of Gray, for Alcohol Intoxication. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
