The fourth annual GITT Recovery Celebration will take place Sept. 13 at the North Laurel High School football field in London.
The free community event will run from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and will feature live music by Eldon Huff, free food, bouncy houses, and family activities. Organizers will also give away 35 pairs of HOKA shoes, a big-screen television, and other prizes.
A highlight of the evening will be the giveaway of a 2018 KIA. The event will close with a lantern lighting ceremony honoring hope, healing and recovery.
Last year’s celebration drew more than 2,100 people, with even larger crowds anticipated this year.
