The Barbourville Housing Authority has developed documents related to the Five-Year/Annual Agency Plan process and Five-Year Capital Fund Program budgets for Fiscal Year beginning April 1, 2025 in compliance with current HUD regulations. The operation is located on the Corbin U.S.G.S. 7-1/2 minute quadrangle map. The operation is a coal recovery operation. The surface area is owned by CH Development L.L.C.

The new permit number will be 861-0586. The operation disturbs 5.2 Acres and underlies 0 acres. No new acreage is affected by this transfer.

PUBLIC NOTICE
The Knox County Utility Commission will be doing our annual fall flushing beginning October 21, 2024, in Artemus and continuing throughout the distribution system during the remainder of the week. The water is safe to drink, but the Water District recommends that you do not wash any white clothing during this time due to discoloration.
