Funeral services for Dennis Wayne Smith will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 2:00 P.M in the chapel of The Barbourville Funeral Home. Brother Mike Ferguson will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Coles Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M until the time of service at 2:00 P.M at the funeral home.
Dennis Wayne Smith, age 60, departed this life on Monday, July 13, 2026, at his home in Pineville, Kentucky.
Dennis was born on July 10, 1966, in Pineville, Kentucky to the late Dennis and Corine Smith.
Along with his parents, Dennis and Corine, Dennis was also preceded in death by three brothers; Jester Smith, Vincent Smith, and Donnie Smith.
Dennis leaves behind a fiancé, Barbara Lawson, three brothers; Leon Smith and wife Deborah, Marty Smith, and Ronnie Smith and wife Minnie, one sister; Patricia Ann Maguire and husband Johnny, several nieces, nephews and other family and friends to miss him and to mourn his passing.
