J. B. Jordan, age 81, of Bimble, Kentucky departed this life on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the Mountain View Nursing and Rehab in Pineville, Kentucky.
J. B was born on March 14, 1945, in Manchester, Kentucky to the late Tom Jordan and Gracie Johnson.
He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed time with his family, friends and pets.
Along with his parents, Tom and Gracie, J.B was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jordan, two children, Cora Jordan and Jeffery Jordan, four brothers, James Johnson, Melvin Johnson, Finley Johnson and Junior Jordan, two sisters, Delores Gray and Maggie Johnson.
J.B leaves behind four children, Cleo Castle and husband Sam, Linda Jordan and Boyd, James Jordan, and Rosemary Jordan and fiancé Carl Hooker, eight grandchildren, Jessica Jordan, Powion Brown and Mandy, Betty Sizemore and Darren, Thomas Jordan and Tanya, Cody Castle, Zachary Jordan and Kyra, Leah Jordan and Brayden, and Olivia Jordan, ten great grandchildren, Ellie Jordan, Kaleb Jordan, Alex Smith, Scottie Smith, Devon Jordan, Bralyn Jordan, Paislee Sizemore, Landon Garrison, Gracelyn , Braxton and Emmalyn, one sister, Ella Johnson, along with numerous other relatives and friends to miss him and to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for J.B Jordan will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 2:00 P.M in the chapel of The Barbourville Funeral Home. Brother Roy Eversole will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Hampton Cemetery. The family will receive friend on Sunday, May 10, 2026, from 6:00 P.M until 9:00 P.M. at The Barbourville Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be James Jordan, Zachary Jordan, Powion Brown, Thomas Jordan, Carl Hooker and Sam Castle.
