John Ray Hall, age 79, departed this life on Friday, May 15, 2026, at his home in London, Kentucky.
John was born on July 19, 1946, in Harlan County, Kentucky to the late Ray and Julia Mitchell Hall. He was a member of The Old Ark House of Prayer and served our country in the United States Army.
Along with his parents, Ray and Julia, John was also preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Hall, one son, Ray Hall, two brothers, Seymore Holl and Charles Hall, and two sisters, Dovie Hall and Betty Osborne.
John leaves behind three children, Julia Hall, Darrell Hall and Tonya Tobles and husband Chad, eleven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, one sister, Rebecca Reynolds, a few nieces and nephews, three close friends, Jamie Eversole, Ton Coulombe, and Mark Leigh, and other family and friends to miss him and mourn his passing.
Funeral services for John Ray Hall will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 2:00 P.M at The Old Ark House of Prayer in London, Kentucky. Brother Roy Eversole will be officiating. Interment will follow in the John Hall Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M until the time of service at the church.
The Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family request that in Lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude’s Charity or Wonunded Warriors.
