Adam Larkin, a nationally recognized entrepreneur and recovery advocate, is expanding his efforts to support people in recovery while growing his global lifestyle brand.
Larkin is the CEO and co-founder of GITT Apparel, short for “Get In The Truck,” which he launched with his sister, Jeannette. Inspired by his own journey out of addiction and homelessness, the brand has grown into an international movement, now sold in 41 states and across three continents, including Europe and the Mombasa Coast of Africa. GITT Apparel has also been featured on billboards in Times Square.
In addition to leading GITT, Larkin serves as chief marketing officer for New Hope Counseling and Recovery in southeastern Kentucky. He and his fiance, Jen, recently opened the 4th Dimension Treatment Center in Coalgood, a women’s facility that offers adventure therapy and holistic recovery programs.
Larkin has been profiled in outlets including LA Wire, CEO Weekly, Recovery Today Magazine, US Insider, NY Weekly and NY Wire. He is also a frequent guest on the Everyday Kentucky Show and has appeared in dozens of interviews across television, radio and newspapers nationwide. He has more than 300,000 followers across multiple platforms and is known for using storytelling to connect marketing with recovery advocacy.
This fall, Larkin is launching the “GITT Up with Adam Larkin” podcast in collaboration with Lex Studios, focusing on conversations around recovery, entrepreneurship and motivation. He also organizes the GITT Recovery Celebration, which drew more than 2,100 attendees in its third year. The fourth annual event, set for September 13, will feature a car giveaway to someone in recovery.
Larkin recently earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership and will begin an MBA program in January. His autobiography is scheduled for release this Christmas, with launches planned in New York and Kentucky. The book will be distributed to colleges, treatment centers, churches and schools worldwide.
He has also stepped into acting, landing his first paid role with Lex Studios.
“GITT motivated. GITT inspired. GITT with the program. Don’t GITT left behind,” Larkin said.
