The GFWC Barbourville Woman’s Club and the Barbourville Garden Club partnered to present the annual Knox County “Tour of Homes” on Sunday, Dec. 6.  On the tour this year were Barbourville/Knox County Visitor Center, Conway Boatman Chapel, First United Methodist Church, Turkey Creek Baptist Church and the homes of Kay Burgess, Shelley Crawford, Jerry Wayne and Crystal Garland, Ed and Joetta Gaunt, and Brian and Courtney Barnhill.  Downtown businesses included on the Tour were Taylor’s Treasurers, Old Way Café, The Ugly Mug Coffee House, Knox Public Library, and Bee Tickled Pink.  Each residence and business was decorated beautifully, and delicious refreshments were served.

Allie Mano received a poinsettia in a unique pot made by Study Club member Sharon Boggs.  Andrea Butler’s name was drawn for a wooden snowman, and Carol Garrett won the decorative Christmas swag.
