Whitley County intersection improvement project begins today

Lane shifts will be in effect beginning today through Monday, May 4 at the intersection of U.S. 25W and KY 3041

 MANCHESTER, Ky. (March 30, 2015) – An intersection improvement project to construct a new concrete paved intersection at the intersection of U.S. 25W (18TH Street) and KY 3041 (Corbin Bypass) in Whitley County begins today. Lane shifts are expected to last through Monday, May 4. The concrete paved intersection project is expected to be overall completed by Tuesday, June 30.

 Lane shifts will be in effect with work starting every Sunday at 8 p.m. and ending every Friday at 7 a.m. until Monday, May 4. Lanes will also be reduced in width.

 Drivers are urged to use caution at this location and be mindful of stopped or slowed traffic and repair crews as work continues.
