Special to the Mountain Advocate

Knox County UNITE is proud to announce the top three toilet paper candidate donors for the “Wipe Out Drugs” Campaign.

Every candidate running in the Nov. 4 election was notified and asked to contribute for this worthy drive.

J. M. Hall, Knox County Judge Executive, Gilbert Holland, Knox County attorney, and Jon Phoenix, candidate for Barbourville City Council, were the top givers.  Each candidate was happy to help with this project as the toilet paper was given to substance abuse treatment centers.

Other winners and trophies will be given out at 6 p.m. on the courthouse front porch on Fright Night, Oct. 31.

Knox County UNITE is happy to have collected more than 7,300 rolls of toilet paper.
