Gingerbread Square produces 'Hallmark' moment with marriage proposal!

Downtown Barbourville was all aglow over the weekend as families descended on the city for its annual Christmas festivities. Those activities included breakfast with Santa, live music from talented local musicians, the annual ‘I Believe in Santa Claus’ parade, Christmas tree lighting, and more.
One special highlight of the parade was a proposal! Hunter Bright proposed to his girlfriend, Rhegan Sowders, as Santa made his way down Knox Street. Congratulations to the happy couple, and to all those responsible for making Barbourville such a festive town not only during Christmas, but year-round!
