Paul Kilbourne was born November 24, 1938, in Smilax, Kentucky. He passed away Thursday, October 29, 2026.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cova and Ella (Day) Kilbourne; his wife, Wilma (Collett) Kilbourne; and his two sisters: Patty Arnold and Leila Kilbourne.
He leaves behind his son, Kendall Kilbourne and wife Gwyn; three grandchildren: Hayden, Regan, and Luke; and one great-grandchild, Lucas Kilbourne, as well as many friends and relatives. He is also survived by very special friends, Tony and Bette Cornett and Scott Petty who were always willing to help him with everything he needed, including mowing and caring for his beloved ponies.
Paul was a faithful member of 19th Street Church of Christ.
He was a wonderful father, father-in-law, grandfather, and friend to many.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 3, 2026, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with David Scott and Gene Beckner officiating. Burial will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
