Sandra Sue Martin, 74, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2026. Born September 11, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Gladys Grubb.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Pete Martin; son, Eric Evans and wife Kim; and three grandchildren: Jacob Rose, Lindsi Rose, and Isabella Evans
Sandy was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother who treasured the time she spent with her family. A talented and creative cook, she had a natural gift for preparing delicious meals without ever needing a recipe. Everything Sandy made was special, but her homemade pecan pie held a particularly dear place in her family’s hearts. One of her greatest joys was sharing her love of cooking with her granddaughter, Izzy, creating precious memories together in the kitchen.
In addition to her devotion to her family, Sandy was a successful businesswoman who made time to enjoy the things she loved. She had a passion for traveling and a special fondness for collecting ceramic chickens, a unique hobby that reflected her personality and brought her joy.
Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, October 23, 2026, at Pine Hill Cemetery with Bobby Joe Eaton officiating.
