Each Friday at 12:30 p.m. Redemption & Recovery meets at East Barbourville Baptist Church. Lunch provided.

Feed My Sheep Community Meal

Feed My Sheep Community Meal is once again starting our free weekly meal. We will serve on each Thursday at 6 p.m. except for 1st Thursday of the month. Hope to see all our old friends. We are located in Corbin on College St in The Barn.

Knox County Farmers’ Market

Knox County Farmers’ Market, 4-7 pm, Thursday, rain or shine, at the Knox County Extension pavilion, 215 Treuhaft Blvd (across from ARH hospital in Barbourville.)

Evening of Gospel Music

Williamsburg Gospel Barn invites you to an evening of gospel music with the Steve Bruce Band of LaFollette, TN, Shepherd’s Call of Mt. Vernon, KY, and Anointed from Hazard, KY, on Saturday, May 18th at 6 p.m. Admission is free. Doors open at 5 p.m. with open mic.

Memorial Day Service & Cemetery Flag placing

The Barbourville City Cemetery will be placing flags on veterans’ graves Monday, May 20. Patrons may place ground flowers on graves on the 20th, and they will remain on the graves until June 10, at which time ground flowers will be picked up in order for the Cemetery to continue mowing and weed eating. Flags will also be picked up on June 10. Please note in your deed any and all additions need approval from the Board of Directors and that Shepherd Hooks, solar lights or anything that is anchored to the ground and interferes with the regular maintenance are not allowed. The Memorial Day Service is to take place on Monday, May 27 at 11:00 a.m. at the Barbourville City Cemetery.

Al-Anon meets weekly

Al-Anon (Support for Families and Friends of Alcoholics) meets weekly on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Barbourville.
