Ballot positions drawn for Nov. election

Ballot positions were drawn on Friday for the November general election.

In the race for Barbourville City Council, ballot positions were drawn as follows: 1. Ronnie Moore (incumbent), 2. Jacob Rose (challenger), 3. Eddie Joe Smith (incumbent), 4. Wilma Barnes (incumbent), 5. Jeremy Hicks (incumbent), 6. Tyler Dunn (challenger), 7. Mike Johnson (incumbent), and 8. Rex Howard Miller (challenger).

In the race for Barbourville School Board, ballot positions were drawn as follows: 1. Jason Reeves (incumbent), 2. Jimmy Hinkle (challenger), and 3. Blair Skidmore (incumbent).

In the race for Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor, ballot positions were drawn as follows: 1. Shirley R. Merida (incumbent), 2. Dexter Smith (challenger), 3. Jim Stewart (incumbent), 4. Charles “Tricky” Willis (challenger), 5. Jerrie Mills (challenger), and 6. Jonathan Wells (challenger).

The November general election will be Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
