KCMS Cheer honored

On the last day of school, cheerleaders at Knox County Middle School received recognition for their accomplishments throughout the year.

The squad was first place in the 13th region, first place at the UCA Bluegrass Nationals, first at the KAPOS State Competition, and fifth in the nation at the UCA High Competition.

Each student athlete received a banner showing the team and a listing of all their accomplishments throughout the year.  Shown with the squad are Superintendent Jeremy Ledford and board members Kevin Hinkle and Dr. Tom Ashburn.  Their coach is Kayla Bright Carmack.
