Each summer the Knox County Public Library puts a enormous amount of effort into making memorable moments for kids and their families through their Summer Reading Program.

Summer 2024 has seen numerous guests such as Smokey Bear and others who have stopped by to impact children through education in ways that will last a lifetime.

This past week, the library hosted guests of the cold-blooded variety as they received a visit from the Kentucky Reptile Zoo.

A packed house of young people along with their families were able to meet numerous scaly new friends such as turtles, alligators, and even snakes in a fascinating presentation showcasing an educational look into the world of reptiles.
