A new school year is officially underway in Knox County. Kids are back to getting up early, eager to get going and are ready to learn.
From Lynn Camp to Dewitt and from Knox Central to Barbourville City School, education is back at the forefront of the minds of students and teachers alike throughout the community.
Outside of the wonderful public schools in the county, there are also great private school options as well. Among those is Central Christian Academy, located in the Gray community, which opened its doors on August 15 to begin the 2024-2025 school year.
Central Christian Academy’s first opened its doors in 2020, is a private Christian-based Pre-K through 10th grade school. The hours of operation are from 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The school is located at 34 School Street, Gray, Ky.
