Obituary - Larry Wagner

Mr. Larry Wayne Wagner, 67, of Bimble, passed away Wednesday evening, September 11, 2024 at the UK Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington. He was the son of the late Jesse and Betty Epperson Wagner born February 28, 1957 in Knox County.

Larry was a member of the Southeast Baptist Church and owner of Wagner-Brown Construction. Larry enjoyed antiquing, visiting the flea market and collecting knives and guns. He was an outdoorsman with a passion for hunting and fishing and always enjoyed taking the scenic route during his travels. He was also a talented blacksmith.

On March 20, 1995 he united in marriage with Angie Mills.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a dearly loved son, Caleb Wagner; brother, Raymond Wagner; brother-in-law, Danny Wright and sister-in-law, Janet Price.

Survivors include his loving wife, Angie Wagner of Bimble; son, Aden Wagner of Bimble; sisters, Sharon Wright of Bimble and Sherry Jordan and husband, T.J., of Stinking Creek; brothers, Bobby Price and wife, Betty and Martin Price, all of Bimble; several nieces and nephews who loved him dearly; fur baby, Talley Rae; among other relatives and dear friends.

His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Sunday, September 15 at 3 P.M. with Rev. Mike Griffith officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Wagner-Price Cemetery.

Serving as casket bearers will be his family and friends.

Friends may visit at the funeral home Sunday after 12 Noon until the funeral hour.
