Obituary - Judy Warren

Mrs. Judy H. Warren, 73, of Barbourville, passed away Sunday evening, December 1, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. She was the daughter of the late Lester and Ethel Warren Hall born January 28, 1951 in Pineville.
Judy was raised in Pineville, attending Bell County High School and later Eastern Kentucky University. She was a devoted homemaker and a member of the Church of God. She enjoyed collecting, antiquing and was always ready for a shopping trip. She found joy in redecorating her home and traveling. Together with her husband, Larry, she visited 48 of the 50 states. Her travels also took her to Europe, England and France soon became two of her favorite places. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She attended every school activity they participated in and loved to watch the girls cheer.
On December 18, 1971, she united in marriage with Larry Warren and to this union a daughter was born.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Haston and Donald Hall; a sister, Joyce Brock and mother and father-in-law, King Solomon and Beatrice Ward Warren.
Survivors include her loving husband of almost 53 years, Larry Warren of Barbourville; a treasured daughter, Gabrielle Courtenay Warren Farris of Barbourville; cherished grandchildren, Reese, Olivia, Hannah and Noah Farris; brothers-in-law, Dwight Warren and wife, Dawn, and Dennis Warren; nieces, Tammy Brock Gause, Ashland and Neyland Yost and Heide Warren; nephews, Mark Brock, Adam Warren and wife, Megan, Isaac, Solomon and Augustus Warren; among other loved ones and dear friends.
Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Thursday, December 5 at 2 P.M. with Dr. Tyler Shields officiating. Music will be provided by Travis Carmack and Dean Jones. She will be laid to rest in the Barbourville Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be family and friends. Honorary casket bearers will be Dr. Ben Mackey, the staff of the Barbourville ARH Emergency Room Department and the staff of the UK Medical Center ICU.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Wednesday between 5 and 8 P.M. and Thursday after 12 Noon until the funeral hour.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
