Sheriff’s Office receives grants for new firearms, ammo and body armor

The above Glock Model 17 9-mm handguns and 25,250 rounds of 9-mm and 223 caliber ammunition were purchased with grants applied for by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office. New body armor was also purchased, but is currently under fabrication. Photo Courtesy of Knox County Sheriff Mike Smith
