Obituary - Willie Joe Hubbs

Willie Joe Hubbs, 88 of Partridge, passed away Friday, February 7, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Barbourville, KY on April 9, 1936 to the late Herman and Maxine Engle Hubbs. Willie Joe married the love of his life, Judy Eversole, on May 7, 1956. He proudly served in the United States Navy and he retired from Arch Mineral Coal Mines. In his leisure time, he loved going fishing and watching western movies with Judy.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Lynn Smith; two sons, Tommy Ray Hubbs and Billy Joe Hubbs; three brothers, Vernon Hubbs, Thomas Reed Hubbs, and Archie Ray Hubbs; two sisters, Margie Redmond and Brenda Bailey; and a grandson, Joe Sergent.
He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife of 68 years, Judy Eversole Hubbs of Partridge; a son, Michael Hubbs and wife, Melissa, of Partridge; a sister, Valis Collier and husband, Orville, of Cumberland; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
There will be no services at this time.
