Wife shoots dog over attention husband gave it

A 52-year-old Illinois woman, Tracy Picciariello, has been charged with aggravated cruelty to an animal after allegedly shooting her dog. 
The DeKalb County Sheriff's office responded to a call from Picciariello where she admitted to shooting the dog the night before during an argument with her husband. 
Deputies report that the husband said the argument stemmed from his wife's jealousy over the attention he paid to their pets. He subsequently euthanized the dog himself.
Picciariello was taken into custody.
