Officer-involved shooting in Knox under investigation

LEX18 is reporting that Kentucky State Police is investigating an officer-involved shooting in Knox County.
The incident is said to have occurred sometime before 5:30 p.m. on Monday, February 24 at a home on Hubbs Hollow Road in the Rockholds area of Knox County. Earlier reports incorrectly stated it was at Hobbs Hollow Road.
The KSP critical incident response team is at the scene investigating.
The Mountain Advocate has learned a formal press release will be issued by Kentucky State Police in Frankfort on Tuesday.
The exact nature of the incident and who was directly involved have not been released as of 10:45 pm Monday evening. At this time, no fatalities have been confirmed. However, it has been reported that the Knox County Coroner was dispatched to the scene.
