Food Truck Friday, 'Marketplace' kick off new seasons

Food Truck Friday kicked off a new season in downtown Barbourville this week, joined by a new venture, "Marketplace at Court Square," another opportunity for local artisans and farmers to share their goods with the community.
The new Marketplace at Court Square, not to be confused with Market on the Square, a community yard sale, will be a weekly event on Fridays from 4-7 p.m., and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the first Friday of each month. The Marketplace takes place in the City Parking Lot, next to the old Mitchell's Market building across from Los Primos Mexican Restaurant. Vendors interested in signing up to participate, contact the organizers through their Facebook page under the same name, or reach out to Barbourville Tourism.
